C. Frisch

Victoria ISD is proud to announce the appointment of Carl M. Frisch as the new principal of STEM Middle School, effective for the 2025–2026 school year. Mr. Frisch will succeed Denise Delgado, who is retiring after an impressive 30-year career in education, including 25 years of dedicated service to VISD and the last three at STEM Middle School.

Mr. Frisch brings over two decades of educational leadership to his new role, with a strong foundation in both instructional and administrative capacities. Since 2017, he has served as a principal in Bloomington ISD. Before that, Mr. Frisch held the position of Assistant Principal within Victoria ISD from 2015-2017, and taught as an ESL classroom teacher from 2012-2015.

Supporting his extensive experience, Mr. Frisch holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, a master’s degree from St. Mary’s Seminary and University, and a second master’s degree in educational leadership from the University of Houston–Victoria.

“I’m honored to return to Victoria ISD and have the opportunity to lead such an innovative and inspiring campus as STEM Middle School,” said Mr. Frisch. “I look forward to working with students, staff, and families to continue fostering a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and commitment to academic excellence.”

Mr. Frisch will begin transitioning into his new role at the end of the school year to ensure a smooth leadership change as the campus prepares and plans ahead for 2025–2026.
